LEDUC PLUMBING AND HEATING NORDIC CENTER

The LPH Nordic Center is located conveniently at the Leduc Golf Course right off Black Gold Drive. Rental ski packages can be found at the clubhouse were you can enjoy a great meal after your ski at Hacker's Grill. The course is typically 7.6Km in length and is groomed for classic and skate. The outer loop can be accessed from the parking lot at the east and west sides or south of the clubhouse. The 4km trail encompasses the outer edge of the course and is relatively flat with any hills being gradual and easy. The inner loop that can be accessed behind the clubhouse with the south trailhead or from the parking lot using the east entrance connector trail. This 3.6Km loop contains a few more short quick hills than the outer loop but is still beginner friendly. The course's convenient location with full services make it a perfect choice for group rentals for schools or team building events.
SAUNDERS LAKE

The Saunders Lake Ski Trails can be accessed from Rig Hand Distillery just off Airport Road and Range Road 244a. This 6km trail consists of 4km of scenic lake edge skiing with 2km of rolling hills through the trees. For beginner skiers it is recommended to access the trails from Rig Hand distillery but the South trail head can be accessed at the corner of Range Road 244 and Township Road 500. The South side of the trail contains a few steep hills and is home to many species of wildlife. Along with the standard 6km the West side of the lake is occasionally groomed and track set for an additional 4km of lake edge. Rental skis are also available at Rig Hand distillery where you can also find some amazing food and drinks.
